Vote Results

Good evening, adventurers!

The results of your vote are in! About 83% of you voted to continue the finale in early January. Next week, we will give you a timeline of what to expect in January, so we can all be best prepared for it.

Here is a screen shot of the results:

We'd like to thank you again for your continued patience and interest in the story we're trying to tell. We don't want to overdo it, but we're still pretty sorry about November, and we're really happy you've stuck with us. We'll be working hard to make sure this finale runs as smoothly as possible, and that you are given many opportunities to shape your last adventure.

In preparation for the finale, we'd like to give you the holiday break's time to do some character homework! If you were here for Wonderland, you may be familiar with the format; we're just asking you a few questions about your characters' bonds in and out of the universe.

This homework isn't completely required, but having your input would be much appreciated!

Character Name:
Canon:

Bonds---

Home: Describe in a short paragraph a strong bond your character has with someone from their own world, and how that bond helped your character develop.

Balance: Describe in a short paragraph OR link a thread showing a bond between your character and someone else in their time in Balance, from their homeworld or otherwise. Add a sentence or two about how your character was changed by this bond.

NPC: Optional! However, if your character has had a meaningful interaction with an NPC, detail it here! These can be named NPCs from NPC threads OR from RNG threads.

Core strength: After your character's time in balance, what do you think is their core strength?

Core flaw: What is your character's biggest weakness?

Fear: What one thing/person is your character most afraid to lose?

Character Name: Sans
Canon: Undertale

Bonds---

Home: Toriel. Sans bonded with her over bad jokes through a door and even through his general apathetic depression tried out some things like making pies because of her. He made a promise to not hurt and keep an eye on the human even though he hadn't met her and the human was the anomaly, and after Frisk broke the barrier and everyone started living on the surface they remained good friends who tell each other awful jokes and generally harass each other. They're both good for each other's particular issues.

Balance: Sayori. Sans has pretty much adopted Sayori into his family at this point, and looks out for her quite a bit. They know each other's issues and Sayori is absolutely willing to call Sans out on them. Sans will go to actual effort for her, and he wants her to be happy. She is very important to him.

Papyrus! He deserves his own section but he's going to go here. Light of Sans's life, the most important and best brother in the whole multiverse. When it comes to Balance, even without memories Sans found himself hanging around Papyrus a lot. As they tried to figure out where they stood with each other, Sans ended up actually letting Papyrus in on his thought processes more than usual, and he is going to tell Papyrus about that whole time loop thing. Sans would do anything for Papyrus.

NPC: Lucretia. Sans relates to being wildly in over your head and feeling extremely hopeless about it, first of all. He also relates to lying to everybody about everything all the time. She also reminds him a bit of Asgore when it comes to that whole "leader who made some snap decisions and is now desperately treading water" deal. Also she brought him back to life twice, that was nice of her. He'd call her his friend.

Core strength: Patience--it's his main soul color trait! But Balance has made that patience more active; he's more willing to patiently actually work on something rather than just sitting around.

Core flaw: Sloth--while obviously this applies in the sense of laziness, I actually mean it more in the sense of the deadly sin: depression/apathy.

Fear: Papyrus, always
